(CRAFT + CRAP)
Is an experimental installation made with humble, common materials: clear adhesive tape and wool yarn.
In contrast to pioneering advanced technologies, these extemporaneous
trans-formations play with unsophisticated media to generate a contemporary craft collection of sculptural glowing shades.
The un-perfect shapes are displayed as record of a hand-made process, traces of the fact that ingenuity and expediency are still the language of human “virtue from necessity” as much as the development of new industrial technologies.
