It is a proposal for a garden studio incorporating a tree.

The studio environment is convceived to be an autonomous outbuilding, providing flexible space for work, TV entertainment, shower and toilet facilities.

The simple building has a timber framed construction and cement cladding. A large policarbonate skylight and the super-insulation of the outer walls minimise energy consumption.

The interior completely clad with birch plywood opens to a small tree area allowing nature into the indoor environment.
